Hunt for your purpose.

People will always agree on where you have come from (your past) but not where you are going. Always let your spirit agree with God on where He is taking you.

Ever wondered why people think you are crazy when you set out to hunt for your purpose and the same people think you are lazy if you do nothing?

Hunt for every dream that you once let go. Gear up and get into action.

Capture, tame and bring home.

Numbers 13:30 Silence the nay Sayers, go up and take possession.

You can certainly do it.

Believe in the Spirit of God who guides you. Trust Him wholeheartedly and do not be in contemp of God’s work.

Numbers 14:24 But because my servant Caleb has a different Spirit and follows me wholeheartedly, i will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it.

How is your spirit? Is it in agreement with God’s word and will.

Or are you in agreement with those who don’t believe in you and your future?

Think about it…

Pause for a moment

Breath in and reflect.

Though not our routine kind of lifestyle, we made it this far.

Sometimes in April i thought we would sit and think of covid-19 as a thing in Christmas . But it is still here robbing us our freedom.

I still appreciate the lessons learnt and how much life has to offer.

Time never stopped.

Growth never ceased.

Fear never overcame.

Communication was made stronger.

Awareness became our best tour guide.

Hope will always remain as long as their is life.

I stand to thank God for everything and everyone during this season.

WordPress family continued to give us hope through numerous stories and encouraging words.

The experiences shared made it easier.

Be blessed.

Be A Responsible Citizen

Am a strong believer of doing my part considering myself as a responsible adult who doesn’t need reminders or going against the common sense parameters of what is right. On certain occasions i want to speak up against injustice but i haven’t had the opportunity or courage to sit with placards in the streets and i really appreciate those brave souls who go against all odds to fight for what is right.

Today i read a verse that resonates with my line of thinking and i thought of sharing.

I haven’t added or subtracted to this verses from Romans 13:1-13 from The Message Bible

Be a good citizen.

All governments are under God. Insofar as there is peace and order, it’s God’s order.

So live responsibly as a citizen. If you’re irresponsible to the state, then you’re irresponsible with God, and God will hold you responsible.

Duly constituted authorities are only a threat if you’re trying to get by with something. Decent citizens should have nothing to fear.

Do you want to be on good terms with the government? Be a responsible citizen and you’ll get on just fine, the government working to your advantage.

But if you’re breaking the rules right and left, watch out. The police aren’t there just to be admired in their uniforms.

God also has an interest in keeping order, and he uses them to do it.

That’s why you must live responsibly—not just to avoid punishment but also because it’s the right way to live.

That’s also why you pay taxes—so that an orderly way of life can be maintained.

Fulfill your obligations as a citizen. Pay your taxes, pay your bills, respect your leaders.

Don’t run up debts, except for the huge debt of love you owe each other.

When you love others, you complete what the law has been after all along. The law code—don’t sleep with another person’s spouse, don’t take someone’s life, don’t take what isn’t yours, don’t always be wanting what you don’t have, and any other “don’t” you can think of—finally adds up to this: Love other people as well as you do yourself. You can’t go wrong when you love others. When you add up everything in the law code, the sum total is love.

Made whole

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 May God himself, the God who makes everything holy and whole, make you holy and whole, put you together—spirit, soul, and body—and keep you fit for the coming of our Master, Jesus Christ. The One who called you is completely dependable. If he said it, he’ll do it!

A broken wing makes it very hard for a bird to survive, starvation looms and the bird becomes vulnerable to its predators. Incase the bird finds someone to tend to it and try fixing the wing and feed it as it heals then the chances of survival increase.

We all have been broken at sometime, some learnt the art of living with the pain, some got vulnerable and found vises to help them cope and others surrendered and seeked for help.

I realised for everytime am broken i feel like i leave a piece of me behind, sometimes i leave some kindness and compassion and borrow some “meanesess” other times i just became a bit reckless after being judged too much. One day i woke up to the realisation that the unfriendly environment i found myself in was corrupting me little by little. The venom was spreading and the beautiful heart was changing. It took a lot of courage to flee and start over again.

I can never thank my God enough for taking me in and tending to my wounds gently. He healed every brokenness and made new my being and character. The fruits of the Spirit became evident once again.

Where do you seek help when you are broken and weary? How much of you have you lost on the way? The journey ain’t easy or fair, not everybody is for you thus learn to remain connected and in touch with the giver of life.

Stay whole and holy in Christ.

The Seven Cord.

One day i was asked to solve a riddle, on one hand i was given one stick and on the other seven tied together. My grandpa asked me to break them without undoing the arrangement. The one stick was easy to break but the seven that had been tied together couldnt bulge. I got frustrated and wanted to tear them apart but the rules stated clearly not to rearrange.

Later that evening the lesson was explained, when a man stands alone breaking him is very easy. But when a man stands in good company breaking him will take a lot more.

Its been severall years and life has continued to teach me that, man can never stand alone for there comes a time when you’ve got to remain standing but who will help you up when circumstances knock you down?

Always remember to keep the company of this people with you and maintain a healthy relationship always the holy trinity of three God, His Son and the Holy Spirit , family, friends, society and you.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 Benefits of friends.

It’s better to have a partner than going about life alone.

Share the work, share the wealth.

And if one falls down, the other helps,

But if there’s no one to help, tough!

Two in a bed warm each other.

Alone, you shiver all night.

By yourself you’re unprotected.

With a friend you can face the worst.

Can you round up a third?

A three-stranded rope isn’t easily snapped.

Blessings.

My Blogs Name

The sacred bowl

Hello friends.

Todays post is about my blogs name. The name came as a revelation from Zechariah 14:20 part b And the cooking pots in the Lord’s house will be like SACRED BOWLS in front of the altar.

I consider myself a vessel ready to be used by my master and each day i desire to glorify Him as he deserves. As a vessel my sincere desire is to be Holy and Acceptable by the Lord for His will and purpose.

Thus, i don’t just want to be another vessel in the altar but to be considered as Sacred and worthy. But in all these, it’s not by my power or might but by His Spirit.

I desire this sacred bowl to be full of God’s promises, full of His instruction, full of rebuke and love.

The goal is to have this bowl full of incense that pleases the Lord. The true worship that God desires from me.

What keeps me going.

Hello lovelies, it’s been a while since i last posted. Life happens and gets in the way of our daily routines but after all that we rise up to a new day and keep on.

This post is just to focus on my walk as a christian. Its been twenty intresting years since i gave my life to Christ. The first few years were terrible as i had no deeper understanding of our relationship. So many wasted years not even bothering on reading the word. I cannot even count the number of times i have fallen. I have vowed on so many things just to prove to God that am committed by i still fail on that to this date, still working on that.

Am grateful for the grace, that keeps me standing, for the cross and the blood of Jesus that reminds me that it was all paid for. The Lord taught me on how to strengthen my relationship with Him and i will be sharing with you what has made me grow as a christian.

1.Fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

For me this is not just about talking in tongues its more of a friendship journey.

He taught me how to pray, what to pray for and when to pray.

He helps me understand God’s word from the Holy Book and when He speaks to me.

He instructs me on everything and gives me peace when the storms of life rage.

He leads me on level ground.

He testifies for me when am faced with false accusations.

He gives me strength when am weak and weary.

He is soo much more than i can write

2. Fellowship with Fellow Brethren

This has been of great benefit to me, meeting people who passionately desire to know God more and more is a blessing.

God gave me people who continually challenge me to study more of God from His word and to pray more.

Great brethren hold you up even when you cannot pray and they pray for you.

They remind you of God’s promises when you feel defeated.

3. Teaching or sharing what i have Learnt

For me this is like that concrete mixture that is placed beneath every brick to hold them together permanently. Sharing makes me hold the word more firmly.

The more i share God’s word the more the revelation even in other areas of my life.

The word of God sharpens us only when understood and applied.

In conclusion

Philippians 2:12 Continue to work on your salvation with fear and trembling.
